Life brings us to many places filled with many people. We must remember that in our interactions with so many people the only person we are able to control is ourselves. We can not control that other driver or the person in front of you at line, a co-worker or the customers we are serving. What we can be in control of is OUR FEELINGS and OUR ACTIONS. Going head on with these people is useless. If there was a rhyme or reason factor they would not be acting out of control in the first place. Instead of following their lead of aggression or succumbing to a feeling of defeat or victim try to take an opposite mental attitude. If someone cuts you off in traffic, let them go and just realize the danger that could have happened. Empathy towards our conflicts with understanding instead of a negative impulsive reaction allows a feeling of peace within ourselves. This is not an easy task yet with anything deep breath and compassion we can control ourselves and most important our reactions.
